Energy for Swim is a pioneer Sports Event which for the first time combines swimming and entertainment; it’s purpose is not only to give fans the chance to see the world’s elite swimmers, but also to support, through the power of sports, four different charity organizations.
At the beautiful Swimming Pool of Foro Italico in Rome, the fastest international swimmers will compete not only to win races or break records, but also to support specific projects developed by charity organizations, which have the common purpose of aiding children in need.
The four teams that will be competing during the two-day event are ENERGY STANDARD INTERNATIONAL SWIMMING CLUB, TEAM ITALY, TEAM USA and TEAM AUSTRALIA. Energy for Swim will also feature shows performed by world-class artists, making this event unique and unmissable for all Swimming and Sports fans.More
Energy for Swim is not a classic swimming competition: every single race won by a team member wins points. Every point is important! All charity organizations will receive essential financial support according to the final team ranking after the second session of the event.
This time, the world’s greatest swimmers are going to compete with an extra motivation!
Not only the competition, but also the fan participation will help the charity organizations in their fundraising activities, since a large part of ticket sales will be devoted to the organizations.
The Charity foundations which will be supported by Energy for Swim are: Save the Children, Tabletochki, Cure Brain Cancer & Make a Spalsh.
We want our sport to go beyond swiming!
The Save The Children ‘’Illuminiamo il Futuro’’ campaign is born to oppose to educational poverty in Italy through the creation of Punti Luce, educational centers active in the most difficult and unattractive areas of our country, where children and adolescents between the ages of 6 and 16 years in hard and certified poverty conditions can study, play and have access to sporting and cultural activities.
Tabletochki is an international charity fund that protects the interest of children with blood cancer in Ukraine.
We provide children with psychological and palliative care, help parents, and develop the volunteer and donor movement in Ukraine.
The USA Swimming Foundation’s Make a Splash initiative is saving children's lives through swim lessons.
Through Make a Splash, the USA Swimming Foundation partners provide swimming lessons and educate children and their families on the importance of learning how to swim.
Cure Brain Cancer is the peak organisation for brain cancer research, advocacy and awareness in Australia, with a time-critical mission to increase five-year survival from the current 20% to 50% by 2023. With a strong patient focus we forge global collaborations, fund innovative research and are bringing world-class clinical trials to Australia to give children and adults with brain cancer access to new treatments faster.
